My name is Simren Panghli. I was born and raised in the small town of Merritt BC. I took the photo above on a hike with my dog to the flagpole in town. My dog’s name is Kaiser he’s an 11 month old German Shepard. I moved to Kamloops this summer, after I made up my mind to go to TRU. I have recieved the Ambassadors Entrance Scholarship to the school. I am currently pursuing my first year of my Bachelors of Arts degree. I am hoping to branch into a Bachelors of Education degree. I would like to become a teacher, as I enjoy teaching at my current job as a lifeguard.
I have always enjoyed social studies classes, although I have had little education on Canadian History before taking this class. I thought it would be a very intersting class, I wanted to learn about the roots of Canada. I have learned about the rich history of Canada as well as expanding my historical knowledge and thinking. This e-portfolio takes your on a journey of my interpretation of HIST1120, I hope you enjoy!
